A CONTEMPORARY HALLWAY THAT MAKES AN IMPACT

Working with this new construction project allowed us to design the perfect hallway from scratch. We focused on clean lines and minimalist design while adding touches of luxury that make the space unique. From the start, we worked with the building plans to create a space that flows naturally and makes a statement without trying too hard.

The wall design is where things get interesting. We created modern mouldings that do more than look good – they hide doors in the cloakroom and wardrobe for coats, shoes, and school bags for children. You wouldn’t even know they’re there. The lighting was another fun challenge for us. Instead of going with standard downlights, we designed a system that washes the walls with indirect light, making the artwork pop and creating different moods as the day goes by.

Two elements steal the show in this space. A grand piano adds music and style to the hallway, sitting there like a piece of sculpture. Then there’s the staircase – a mix of stone steps and dark bronze metal that catches your eye immediately. These features work together to turn what could have been just a hallway into a space that people want to spend time in, not just walk through.
