The project in Kenilworth was driven by a desire to enhance storage and evoke the intimate ambience of a boutique hotel. We introduced a custom partition that elegantly frames the headboard, which doubles as a statement piece and clever storage solution. Upholstered in plush velvet, the headboard is complemented by an integrated elevated side tables with drawers and reading lights, seamlessly blending form and function. Behind this feature, a walk-in wardrobe for additional storage was crafted, making the room more spacious and organised.

Bespoke Elements & Warmth through Materiality

A key feature was the use of warm wooden finishes on the partition, contrasting beautifully with the neutral palette of soft carpets, curtains, and wall paints. The neutral tones—accentuated with terracotta cushions and artwork—create a calming backdrop, while dark bronze accents on the bespoke dressing table, wardrobe framing, electrical fixtures, and a stunning contemporary chandelier add depth and sophistication. These bespoke details elevate the room’s design, showcasing how custom elements can add personality and luxury.

Enhanced Functionality with Smart Technology

Modern comfort was a priority, achieved through the integration of a Lutron automated lighting system, allowing versatile mood settings for different times of day or occasions and electrical curtains. Additionally, air conditioning system was installed, ensuring year-round comfort. These technological enhancements exemplify how contemporary high-end interiors blend aesthetic appeal with practical, user-friendly features.

Maximising Storage with Custom Solutions

To further optimise space, a secondary partition was crafted to incorporate a mini fridge and conceal the TV within a niche, maintaining a sleek, clutter-free environment. This bespoke cabinetry was designed and completed with the collaboration of highly qualified professionals, from bespoke carpenters to decorators, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance with UK building regulations.
