CELEBRATING THE TRUE VALUE OF INTERIOR DESIGN

On Tuesday, 3rd February 2026, I had the honour of participating in a panel discussion titled “More Than Just Cushions: Exploring The True Value Of An Interior Designer” at the Spring Fair, NEC Birmingham. Hosted by the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID), this session explored the critical role interior designers play in creating spaces that go beyond aesthetics to deliver functionality, comfort, and lasting value.

The panel, expertly chaired by Ruth Turner-Jones, BIID Regional Ambassador for the Midlands and East Anglia, included the inspiring Verity Coleman and John Blakeman. Together, we highlighted how professional interior designers transform spaces across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors—from creating welcoming hotel environments and efficient workspaces to curating homes that reflect personality and lifestyle.
